 The 2007 Bag Tag Madness Tournament is here! For those involved thoughout the semester you know first hand what the Bag Tag Challenge was all about and how much fun it was, but for those that have no clue what it's about you are welcome to venture to our forums post on the Bag Tag Challenge and brush up on your game knowledge.
Ok, now that you know what it is all about now comes the added fun of a bracket tournament system similar in nature to March Madness that the NCAA has for Men's Basketball.So if you have ever participated in one of those brackets then you will be right at home with ours. This was conceived to help raise money for the club, the prize package the champion receives, and to give others something fun to do and a chance to win 60% of all the money collected from the sale of brackets, not too shabby huh!

Ace Race Disc Approved for Sanctioned Play! |

 "Nearly 200 Ace Races were held around the world this season, and now
comes good news for the thousands of players who fell in love with the
2007 prototype Ace Race disc: it is now PDGA approved for tournament
play. The disc has been named the Impact, and is classified as a long
range driver with a 0.0 stability rating. All Ace Race copies of the
disc are included as approved."

So there it is, the alarm clock going off at a god awful 5:45am! Why am I doing this on Saturday morning? That is the question that ran threw my head this past Saturday as I was getting ready to head to Centralia, IL to play along the side of Gavin, Andy, and Tony in the intercollegiate tournament being held by the Illini and Gateway Disc Golf...

With Thanksgiving break right around the corner and then crunch time for
finals shortly after that the RSO needs to start thinking of how to tie up this
first great semester we started.
The RSO officers and I have decided on a few things to wrap this semester
up and hopefully send everyone home for Christmas break with good thoughts
about this semester and the upcoming ones to follow.
