E I U's First Annual Ice Bowl |

So the other night I got a call from the guys up at Eastern asking if we would be interested in attending their 1st annual Ice Bowl. I told them that I would pass along the information and try to get a team up there for at least Sunday.
The Ice Bowl is a great tournament series if you are not familiar with it. SIDG is actually looking to hold one of these towards the end of Feburary once we find a local charity to partner with. Keep your eyesopen for that information to find its way on here as well very soon if we can get it finalized.

Stumbled across this video review of the Stafford Lake Disc Golf course in Novato, CA and thought it was done really well, so here it is for everyone else to see.
They cover a bit of what is disc golf all about as well, plus it has some very nice looking scenic shots that make me want to take a trip out there to give it a shot!

Morley Field in San
Diego, CA has lost
one of the more memorable landmarks that I can remember in my short disc golf
career. It seems due to the recent stormy weather that hit that area the Shoe
Tree as it has become to be known by has fallen down.

The Bag Tag Madness bracket was a close race to the finish with a few people tying for second place....but in the end Gavin won the bracket with a key pick of Melissa beating Paul in the Elite 8 round.
Congrats to Gavin for winning yet another prize!

The 2007 Bag Tag Madness has got be one of the wettest weekends to date this year. The wetness and near freezing tempatures did not stop our players from going out and playing in the 1st Bag Tag Madness tournament though.
