Friday Grill Out & Night Glow Round at Heistand
On October 12th we will finally have a weekend with no road disc golf tournaments. As such, we are hosting a local disc golf event which will be free for everyone. We hope that many of you will come out and play disc golf with us, no matter what your skill level. The event will start at 5:00 Friday night when we heat up some grills and cook some hot dogs for everyone. Food will be provided by the club, so please come out and grab some dinner with us. At 6:00 we will be play a night "glow stick" round. For those of you who have never played a night round of disc golf, it's a blast. You tape glow sticks onto the top of your disc (they are very small and do not affect how it flies) and throw towards the pin which is lighted up by a much larger glow stick. Night rounds are one of the most fun ways to play disc golf, so we hope you will all come out and join us. All supplies will be provided by the club, so all you need to do is show up with some discs. As always I can
help figure out transportation as time gets closer, but please e-mail me back and let me know if you are thinking of coming. I hope to see you all out there!

Highbridge for the 2nd Annual Strange Brew Huck.
If you've never "experienced" Highbridge (as most people refer to it) check out their website http://www.highbridgehillssc.com/ and explore their 5 courses and many amenities.
We will be headed up there April 13th-15th and camping 2 nights. We will play 2, and an optional 3rd round of doubles play- matching advanced players with novice players. It is bound to fun time with over 6 other UW schools and 50 college players of every skill level. As an incentive we have custom stamped discs for everyone (check out the attatched flyer for a sick logo a UW-Stout representative made for us) and I have personally thrown 8 beer steins for individual trophies to reward the top three of both divisions.
Join us....$40 covers camping fees, greens fees, a custom stamped disc, and refreshments. Remember a sleeping bag, discs, flashlight, and some gas and food money. We'll be trying to work out a food situation to cooperatively feed all of us.
