Yesterday kicked off the weekly league at the Campus Lake
course at SIUC and I must say I was pleased with the turn out. In total we had
15 players signup and will likely see a few more show up before the
Wednesday deadline for new entries. Everyone seemed to have a good time out
there yesterday and it was nice to see a large group of players out there all
at one time.
Scores have been tallied and are posted so that you can keep track of your
progress throughout the week. Remember you get to drop your two highest scores.
A "did not finish", "did not show", or "Bad
weather" will be represented by a score of 200 on the score sheet; this is
so I can automatically drop the two highest scores from everyone’s records.
Today there is possible rain and thunderstorms and as long as there is no
lightning in the area play will continue. We will meet at the boat docks once
again to hand out scorecards and pencils (I will bring this time, LOL). Just
want to thank you all again for a great start to this league idea and with it I
hope to continue to make new leagues and eventually get a tournament down here
in the near future.
